Love For Us

Roll the stone away
That heart might live,
Not decay;
And might forgive.

Mark the heart with your word;
Fill its recesses with your love;
Make it light, a hummingbird
From heaven, sharing its sweets thereof.

Kneel the knee,
The tongue confess,
You are Lord of Galilee,
Jesus Christ of righteousness.

Grind the will
To airy dust
Like a grain mill
Crushing us.

And before our end,
Let us accept
The lover of man,
Jesus Christ.
